Once A Gunner, Always A Gunner

   Heading for a certain coffee outlet at Preston railway station, on my way home today I couldn't help noticing these two gentlemen. I asked them if I could get a picture of them for this journal.

   We got talking and it turned out that they had both served in the Royal Regiment of Artillery, a little before my time though. Spent about five minutes with them, talking about the regiments we all served in and comrades lost. 

   All too soon it was time for us to part company. Maybe one of these days I'll visit the home of the Chelsea Pensioners and hopefully have another natter with these gentlemen.
