Gone!
It seems Kat's garden has lots of things I've never blipped before like these two damselfly nymph skins left behind on the leaf. When the nymphs are ready for their metamorphosis, they climb up out of the water and cling to something sturdy. The skin on the back of the thorax cracks and the new damselfly breaks its way out. It can stay there a while because it takes time for the wings and abdomen to be pumped up and the body's exoskeleton to harden up. Kat saw all this happening in her pond before we arrived.
This morning we went to Morton Hall garden centre for coffee followed by a shopping trip to Cameron Toll. The Man and Kat also had a trip out to the recycling centre.
In the evening we sat out in the garden and had a barbeque.
