Crossing the Tamar

We moved our base camp from Cornwall into Devon, to a small rural campsite which sounded very peaceful. Before heading there, we spent a while in Plymouth, most of it on Plymouth Ho. (Extra) It was a beautiful day and so lovely to stroll in the sunshine, surrounded by carefree students.
We had left the campervan at a park+ride parking area on the edge of the city so it was good to allow someone else to take the strain of driving while we enjoyed the sights.
Driving from Plymouth to our campsite was a bit of a white-knuckle ride, negotiating very narrow lanes with high hedges. Mull’s single track roads are a doddle compared to the lanes we tackled this late afternoon, but we arrived safely in the end!
