Cuteness Overload
I spent a frantic morning getting ready for house guests again. They arrived about 1pm and after a quick cold drink, were ready to visit some local sites.
We started off at Little Morton Hall where we were met by a very inquisitive trio of young ducklings. How could we resist lying down on the grass and photographing them? They were under our arms and legs and you really did need eyes up your bottom to make sure that you didn't tread on them. The mother kept a very close eye on them and eventually they collapsed in a clump and fell asleep.
After a quick dash around the hall, we drove over to Biddulph Grange and had a lovely walk around the gardens. There were some really magnificent tulips and a wonderful smelling azalea.
