Trees In Fairmilehead Park

A lovely Saturday morning after a cold night. I don a long sleeve top for the morning daunder around the park. It doesn't feel that bad outside, so I probably could have gone without the top. I get my weekly photo of the trees in the park. Back home, I do some work in the front garden before coffee.

Grocery delivery arives a bit early, halfway through my coffee. But it doesn't take long to sort out, and I finish my coffee.

After lunch, partner and I walk down to get weekend groceries. Very nice in the sunshine. Everywhere is quiet, and cafés quite empty. I suppose it is the last weekend of league football, the weather is lovely, so people may be out enjoying the weather, plus there is a local holiday on Monday, so the schools will be shut. Doesn't take long to get the shopping and get home. Nice day, so up to the local shop for an ice cream to eat while we go for a wee daunder around the park.

Eurovision Song Contest tonight, The Austrian entry, a pre-contest favourite won. The Swedish entry, another pre contest favourite, didn't win, and didn't do as well as expected. Other pretty nice songs also got low audience points and some mediocre songs got higher than expected scores. I didn't think the UK entry was that special, but I did expect it to get more than 0 points from the audience. And certainly other songs that low audience scores were pretty good. A few surprises and shocks. But all good fun.
