Scunthorpe United 2 Chester FC 1

In the end it wasn't to be. The photo was taken after Chester equalised with a penalty in the 2nd half and at that point it really looked like they would win the game in 90 minutes. When it went into extra time I felt that whoever scored next would win the match and that proved to be the case as Scunthorpe scored in injury time at the end of the first period of extra time. 

 All in all there was nothing between the sides and it could have gone either way but I can't fault the commitment of the players who, to a man, were superb.
