Seville, 1926
17th June 1926 (Text in the extras)
“We’re nearing the end of our trip. We leave for Gibraltar tomorrow & sail for home on Sunday or Monday. Seville is the hottest place [we’ve stuck] yet but we are bearing up nobly”
Sent originally to Paisley, taking 6 days, but looks like it was rerouted to Cambridge (post marked 3 days later).
Though Cambridge ALSO get crossed out, and possibly rerouted again to London.
From GoogleMaps the orange trees are still there, but the ground now paved over instead of grass.
(Yep, I’ve started buying auction lots of old photos and postcards to go with the old cameras…)
