Getting it together

This Eastern bluebird seemed out of sorts for quite a while this evening. He hung out all around the pond drinking and resting. I lost track of him while doing yard work and finally realized he had flown off. I was relieved as the storm we had a few days ago blew the osprey nest apart and I have not seen either osprey since. I also found the gosling I posted on May 15 dead down by the shore. The storm affected everything in it's path. My gardens are a mess. Plants are damaged, leaves ripped off, some uprooted. But the loss of life for the animals was much worse So that is why I was so happy to see the bird has flown off.
