Ram Today

'Ram'

Working in Halifax all day today with an evening meeting at Dean Clough Mills.

This is an 8 metre sculpture made from aluminium, created by the Bradford-based artist Frank Darnley.

Originally commissioned for the carnival parade at successive Bradford Festivals, this and nearby 'Phoenix' were subsequently purchased by the Chairman of Dean Clough, Sir Ernest Hall.

The combined themes of wool and regeneration (as symbolised by the Phoenix) are pertinent to Dean Clough.
