Kevin John Edusei

German conductor Edusei led the Oregon Symphony. He was a pleasure to behold, conducting several complex and high spirited pieces, including Rhapsody in Blue with pianist Makoto Ozone, who did a spectacular job on the piano. That was followed by Josef Suk’s Scherzo fantastique, Op 25, and the concert concluded with a Bela Bartok Suite. The orchestra was right there with Edusei for every entrance, beat, pause, and flourish. All having a good time, as was the audience.
