Kuumbwa Jazz 50th Anniversary Celebration

You’re looking at the West Grand Brass Band, the opening act for today’s free concert in the park, celebrating 50 years of fine local, national, and international programming presented by Kuumbwa Jazz, our non-profit music society. It was a beautiful sunny day, the New Orleans sounds had feet tapping and hips swaying, folks relaxed on blankets and beach chairs on the grassy hill sloping down to the stage. Kuumbwa is a local treasure, a venue loved and respected by artists and patrons alike.
