My girl

While I work in K's garden, Ms Bean snoozes in the back of the car, which I park in the sunshine at this time of year so that she is warm and cosy.

When I finish, I let her out for a quick run around, and then the two of us sit in the open car boot for a few minutes enjoying a moment of relaxation and togetherness. 

Here she is keeping an eye on the approach of Myah the cat, who is one of her good friends.

Yes, the sun has returned. Following yesterday's 23mm of rain everything is dripping and the ground is squelchy underfoot, so I came home quite wet and muddy from K's. 

And I decided that the afternoon was best spent sitting on the sofa in the sunshine reading my book. 

Bean agreed.
