Storm on a beach

I was playing with Alex on the beach when I noticed this piece of seaweed still attached to a sliver of rock. and it reminded me of some great uprooted tree. The textures and lines left in the sand by the falling tide also gave a tremendous sense of energy and movement and so, to my mind at least, the above storm scene took shape.
