Old and new

I caught the train this morning to London and met up with my son. It was surprisingly rather chilly at times as l had anticipated it would be warmer than Devon. Anyway we had a wander around Battersea Park and then onto St James park taking in some of the back streets. I couldn’t resist taking this image of Victoria Palace as l always like the juxtaposition of the buildings.

After returning to my son’s to pick up my luggage I continued onto my friend’s house. It’s lovely to see her and we enjoyed a good meal cooked by her husband and then some delicious Alphonso mangoes. Great to catch up with them.
