The bind that ties

So far a dozen or so 250litre sacks worth of bindweed has been dug out, along with a multitude of flowering raspberry bushes (rubus odoratus for the botanically minded). It's fine along the ditch line, if somewhat blousy, but not in the front of the border. And it spreads.. just like everything else here, it seems.
