Paul McCleary was born on 29th June 1951. He was an actor, known (in film) for Calendar Girls (2003), National Theatre Live: The Kitchen (2011) and Britannia Hospital (1982). Theatre included repertory in Manchester, Derby, Chester, Liverpool, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Bristol, Westcliff-on-Sea, Ludlow, Stoke. In London: Hamlet, Dig for Victory, Snapshots, Sisters, Hottest Bet in Town, All Our Loving, Aladdin, Theatre Royal Follies (Stratford East), Moll Flanders, Henry IV (Croydon Warehouse), Hamlet, Measure for Measure (Young Vic), Going West (Soho Poly), Woman in White (Greenwich). RSC: Il Candelaio, Real Dreams, The Danton Affair, Happy End, The Taming of the Shrew, Zoo Story, Difficult Times, The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing, Operation Elvis. He was married to Jill McCleary. He died on August 7, 2014 in Blurton, Staffordshire, England.
