The day started cloudy and there was the possibility of rain in the afternoon. I decided to trust the forecast and have a morning walk. After a few days of inactivity I chose the High Sweden Bridge circuit, about 4 miles. I usually go up and down the same way but the longer route is more scenic.

Not as much hawthorn in flower as I expected or perhaps I’ve missed the best but the first foxgloves are flowering, there was an area of cotton grass and I was surprised to see bluebells too.
