Bee

D went off early in the direction of the Gyle in order to attend his first-aid training course. I went up to the allotment, but didn't get any photos. It was grey and overcast and quite chilly.

Later, when I went out to get a tram up to yoga, it rained on me a little bit. Didn't see that in the forecast. As I was sitting in the tram I heard an intermittent buzzing in the window behind me; assumed it was a fly, but luckily took a look and it was a small bumblebee! I managed to persuade her on to my snood and here she is sitting on my knee. When I got out at Atholl Crescent she zoomed away over the flower beds. Good deed for the day and a blip - result!

(Think she's a white-tailed bumblebee - but could be buff-tailed, a fine distinction!)
