Portugal day 10
No bikes! A day to explore the city, and oh boy, we have! We caught the metro and tram to the MAAT, to see the Jeff Wall - The Time stands still, and Rui Moireira - Transe exhibitions. And then had a look around the Tejo Power Station, now part of the museum and astonishing the furnaces came from the UK. Then lunch and a mooch around the Lx Factory - full of trendy shops and cafes. Lunch, then the old tram back to town. We walked up the Green Street, wondered around Bairro Alto - much nicer then lasts nights part of town. A quick look at the Carmo Convent ruins and a trip on the Santa Justa lift. Phew we needed an ice cream beer after that. Loved Lisbon, even found a fabric shop!
