Aquilegia
Today our weather forecast was for a little rain in the afternoon, but this didn't materialise and it has been dry all day. However, it is cooler than of late, with a high of about 17C, more normal I would say for Scotland at this time of year. However, the sun still shone!
Country dancing is now finished until the Autumn and so I took the opportunity to re-start Tai Chi classes. It is several years since I have been and it was nice to be back. And I know a lot of the girls there so it was a nice fun afternoon. And afterwards some of us retired to the Monty for tea and cakes!!!!
I used to walk down to the village and back, in fact I used to walk everywhere or take a bus, but am no longer so able to do this so really appreciated that Bob gave me a ride and came back for me.
My muscles are now feeling the strain!
We drove down to a garden centre in the late afternoon for a purchase Bob wanted, so it has been a full day.
Our little woodland patch has a lot of Aquilegia flowering and as I forgot to take a photograph earlier I give you one of the flowers.
