Physio
I had an 8am physio appointment at James Cook Hospital in Middlesborough this morning, like most hospitals it can be a nightmare to park once departments open up. Arriving at 7.40am allows a better chance of finding a spot.
If I wanted to take public transport to get there for 8am I would need to leave home at 5.30am, walk a mile to the train station, use the Transpennine Express and then the Northern train services followed with a walk 1/2 a mile. There are no direct bus services even though James Cook tends to be Northallerton's main A&E.
My dislocated finger has been assessed to be improving but has a long way to go. It seems the physio was serious when on my first visit he told me to bend my finger until it hurts up to 10 times a day and for up to 1 hour at a time!
He called it a 'long stretch', I'm not sure if he meant in time, flexibility or imagination...
This AvgCamPro shot shows the hubbub of the hospital corridors from the in house coffee shop.
