Death and the Olive Grove

I bought this book when I was in Florence, from an amazing bookshop, located inside an old cinema building. It was one of those places in which you felt you just had to leave with something as a momento.
The story was OK, it took me a while to get into it. It was a bit dragged out but at about a third of the way in, I wasn't going to give up.  It was a murder/mystery, following the work and life of Inspector Bordelli. There were not really too many twists in the plot, so it didn't really get exciting in that way where you can't put the book down.
Anyway, I made it to the last page and I'll still keep the book as a momento...Just not in the 'great reads' pile!
