Orienteering for all

Härnösand orienteering club, sponsored by local businesses, has set out markers in several areas, like the one in front of the tree here.  The maps showing the location of these markers, are available for free. Every marker has a code and once you have got the code you can write it in on the web. There are 150 markers in 7 different areas so its a challenge to tick off every marker. I've never got close!
Some are easy to find - this one was 10 meters from a car park and the description was "tree". It really would have been hard to miss it! Others are hard to find - 200 meters from the nearest path, in thick forest and in a small hollow! ( I spent two afternoons looking for one like that once!)
Not everyone thinks it fun but for those who do it can generate a lot of exercise in the summer months.
As encouragement to get going there are  20 points in town, all easy to find.
So far I've found 7 of the 150!
