Rock on….

After other prep for tomorrow’s burial, I took a wander into Mousehole, and the sea defences below my mum and dad’s former home. Years ago Dad deliberately put garden waste between the huge boulders installed as sea defences, and let it compost naturally. When it was ready, he guerrilla-gardened, adding nasturtium, agapanthus, mesembryanthemum and other hardy perennials so the ugly grey rock armour burst into colourful life for part of the year. Still going strong.
