Nemo Me Impune Lacessit
At the Royal Scots Club.
Went to the King James VI/I exhibition at the Portrait Gallery in the morning. Lots of Scots history, including many old books from the National Library collection. Some fine portraits, in grand costumes. A good deal of political commentary, not very much about the economics of the time.
Afternoon walk to Wardie; grey, cool weather and an East wind. Jackets required. A few oystercatchers on the sea front, tide well out. Back by no 8 bus.
Evening meetings at the Royal Scots Club, the AGMs for the Queen Street Gardens. The blip is a side view of a regimental drum.
