Sunday

Today we had a trip to Cultybraggan Camp which sits in the outskirts of Comrie. It’s a huge site once used to house German and Italian prisoners of war in the Nissan huts. Then it became a training centre for the MOD https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultybraggan_Camp . The connection I have to it was that when I was in the Blackford Girl Guides we used to go camping on the site ! When the site shut down the Comrie Community Trust bought it under the Right to Buy scheme. We will go back to the Museum as I only had my dark prescription sunglasses and wouldn’t be able to read all the stuff !

There was a vintage motorbike rally on , there were many people there. We had our lunch sitting outside the Camp 21 Cafe which was excellent! Also, another fabulous day weather wise.

We had a walk alongside the Community Orchard and allotments . They are having a plant sale on Saturday but we aren’t around on Saturday otherwise would have gone.

It was a good afternoon. The scenery around here is spectacular.

Drove home via Crieff and sat outside in garden for a while.
