Peninsula day out

had wonderful day on Banks Peninsula with mpp26. went round the Summit road where I took pic of Akaroa Harbour (top left) which was just beautiful, calm and tide was in, down into Little Akaloa for look around and some lunch. we went to St Lukes church for a look and found we were being watched by a very tubby wood pigeon (top right). Le Bons Bay was next on the list and we went to Totara Vale but they have been hit badly since the earthquakes with wind, rain. Causing quite alot of damage, however they hope to be open again around xmas... going down to the beach we encountered some of the locals (centre). On the whole we had an interesting day and found some lovely hidden delights and other subjects to explore further. Thanks for your company mpp.
