HFC concert

A relatively lazy morning, though I did do a bit of fluting, having missed the last full rehearsal yesterday.  

We sat with the patio door open, and at one point there was a loud bird strike - not sure if it was against the open door or one of the windows.  When we went to investigate, Stanley was on the ground, quite dazed, see extra.  He was in no danger from predators (cats/dogs etc) so we left him, and shortly afterwards, we were pleased to see him sit up, and fly away.  Whilst it's great to get a close view of him, we were greatly relieved it was only temporary. 

In the late afternoon I headed out for the preconcert rehearsal, and W followed later for the concert itself.  The performance went quite well.
