Girls in the sun
A happy pose of my daughter with her daughter.
I'd driven my daughter to the hospital in Tilburg where she learned from the doctor that the scans made a week ago from other angles than the one from the week prior, show that there is no wandering screw in her elbow (it's all in right place) and thus that a new surgery is not needed. Phew, what relief! This showed how important it is that photo's must be taken from various angles before reaching conclusions; we're glad they did this here at this hospital.
My daughter's injured arm is well exposed here; she can stretch her arm 30° downwards now and 10° upwards (towards her shoulder), with the help of a fysiotherapist and doing her exercises, she will increase betterment in the use of her arm in due time. Now it's important that new bone is built up in her injured elbow and we all hope that goes well.
We hope that in due time, a year or so, she can turn the palm of her hand again upwards and downwards too!
