THE BAY

Thbnk you all so much, I have taken the advice given by some of you very techno clever people and have ordered an SD Card Reader, an Acere one as my laptop is an Acer, hopefully that will work - certainly worth trying as it is only a few pounds. I never even knew these things existed I'm afraid but it's so good to know as the rest of the laptop is working really well.  THANK YOU TO ALL WHO MADE THIS SUGGESTION.

Hubby and I took Garron to Oxenholme today to catch his train home.  The train was only about 6 or 7 minutes late so that was great.  He had help with getting on the train, which was much appreciated.  He had no problems and got back to Edinburgh where his brother was waiting to help him off the train - so all good.  He is now safely at his home and chilling for the rest of the day.

On our way back home we decided we would call into Levens Kitchens for coffee, with a very jammy doughnut for him and a half a cheese scone for me (I can never manage a full one), he managed to "hoover" up what I left!!!

Now back home ourselves.  Didn't know what to blip for today6 so you've just got the zoomed in view from our balcony I'm afraid, taken with my Samsung!!
