Everyday Life

Wildcat!

A while ago I picked up a feather whilst on a walk and decided to bring it home for Minstrel to play with. It was in my bag and I'd forgotten it was there until today.

Minstrel was relaxing beside me on the sofa and I put the feather near him. For a while he continued to rest with his paw on it, but after a while he knocked it onto the floor and played wildly with it and his little green ping pong ball. It wasn't possible to get a decent shot of him though.

When Brian came home, he started playing with him again with the feather and I took this and the extra.

Now I am a bit concerned that bird feathers may carry diseases and not be safe for indoor cats, especially as Minstrel can't have one of the normal vaccines after having a bad reaction to it. So the feather is in the bin now!

I'd taken a few shots whilst out on a walk, but they're all things I can take again in future.

Further to the Duck Tale yesterday, it's confirmed that they are indeed baby Indian Running Ducks, and they have now been rescued I'm happy to say! They had been abandoned in the park. A woman with connections to a local rescue charity caught and caged them then waited for someone to come from the charity to collect them.
