The Daily Bun

Cloudscape

Another pleasant day here in Suffolk. We went to Aldeburgh and did a bit of birding at North Warren. The first bird I noticed as we left the car was a Great White Egret, a year tick for both of us, but it was pretty much impossible to photograph, especially at a distance. Another treat was a Bittern, but that was a relatively brief view.
After a few hours birding, we went into town for some afternoon refreshments, and a little bit of shopping. We are thinking about going out this evening for a sighting of a local speciality - which only comes out at dusk.
