My Escape

I am thoroughly enjoying this book by Penny Haw, based on the life of the renowned Mary Leakey.
I find books are relaxing when life is sometimes spinning  out of control!!!
I had an appointment at the hairdresser today, only to get a call from the estate agent to say she had someone who wanted to view the houses. After much running around getting everywhere ready, the clients were 40 mins late.... not good for hubby and I as we are never late. But I could tell when they arrived that they weren't the right people for our home. I guess we will be able to tell when we have a prospective buyer. 
A glass of wine this evening helped get over the disappointment.
