Transport woes Part 2

Yes, I know this is a lovely little hidden path, one of the kind we specialise in in my part of the city. This time the bus I was on coming home broke down as I was hurtling home for a phone consult with who ever had been tasked with sorting out the woes on my repeat prescription list.

The choice was another bus, or walk up the direct hill, and dodge the secondary school end of day chaos, or this slightly longer, flatter walk, leading to a gentler hill which for me is often faster than the direct hill.

I need not have hurtled. The phone call came an hour later than anticipated. But was well worth waiting for as we have thoroughly sorted the glitches in the systems. (A coding change for the two items I've had on repeat for 7 years but never needed to reorder before.) Then the discovery that it's because they've been superseded by newer models. Not, of course, helped by the fact I'm apparently a rare adult who uses insulin refillable pen devices more usually used by children who more often need half-units.

Today's exam candidate also had transport woes....
