World Bee Day
May 20th is World Bee Day so I had no choice but to do a collection of bee photos.
I got up early this morning and headed to Sutton Lake as a load of Grass Carp were being off loaded at the boat ramp. 1,300 of them at about 12-14” long.
Sutton Lake was built to be the cooling water source for the power plant and the power company uses Grass Carp to help keep the lake clean, rather than chemicals. (See extra)
When I got home I spent time out back cleaning all the different bird feeders and then filling the suet feeders, the seed feeders and the hummingbird feeders. I also stocked the squirrel picnic table.
I spent some time outside with my camera and had MiniMe tailing me like a shadow so decided I had better do some chair time with her on the porch.
Went to CVS and got meds for both Kent & I and then brought in my dancing birds so Kent could cut that area of the grass. Once done, I put them back out.
Going to be lazy now!
