Water Avens
I love these wild flowers.
After Bella’s morning walkies we went to a garden centre not far from us.
It’s one we’ve only been to a couple of times but it’s the best in terms of
variety, quality and price. We bought quite a few lovely plants which are now gracing our garden.
I worked for quite a while weeding, chopping and planting.
The birds were very loud and chirpy today, I think some starling fledglings were having flying lessons from their parents. The blackbirds too were singing and calling to each other. It was so lovely to hear them.
Then I came in to do some art and play ukulele.
Tonight we had an extra choir practice as Pete the pianist was joining us to rehearse for our choir performance in Carleton in June where lots of other choirs will also be performing. Pete isn’t a choir member but he plays for us whenever we do anything special so Sue can conduct us instead of tinkling the ivories.
I am very tired now after a busy day.
Goodnight Blippers and thank you for all the comments, stars and hearts!
