Tuesday: Standing Solid

K had an optician’s appointment in Richmond.  It’s some time since she’s had her eyes tested and her eyesight has actually improved which is good news.  We can pick up her new glasses in a week or so.

It was a lovely day so we had lunch out which was a lovely treat.  We tried a Persian restaurant which we hadn’t been too - the food was very good so that’s one to remember.

When we got back we found that B&R had dropped some pots and plants in our front garden.  They’re clearing things out in advance of selling up.  We completely forgot that we’d given them some pots for safekeeping 13 years ago………
