Peaceful…

A water feature at the crematorium today. It was beautiful and peaceful. The funeral of one of our ladies and the one time treasurer of the ladies group, sadly so diminished in her last years due to dementia. I took two other ladies and also negotiated all the local roadworks to avoid worrying holdups.

After yesterday, today has been tough, reality hitting. I messaged Sarah and she said the same, tears kept coming this morning, missing her mum to share the loss of her dad with.

A super phone call this evening to the mother of a one time pupil whose wedding we’re going to next weekend. We’re so chuffed to be invited. There will be lots of catching up going on!
