PS Waverley

Our transport for this evening from Kyle of Lochalsh. We received a splendid piped send off from the Lochalsh junior pipers, paddling up to Plockton, through the Strome narrows to Loch Carron and then looping around via Loch Kishorn back to Kyle.

Weather was a touch breezy, but beautifully warm sunshine and the 80yr old Waverley taking it all in her almost silent 1200hp stride. She was really looking her best after a thorough winter work-over and repaint.

Superb views across Torridon on the mainland and the Cuillins on Skye. 
Extra is a view back out of the Strome narrows towards Skye.
