Discarded Manhole Covers

Discovered some ‘works’ this morning…although there was not actually anything being worked on - just like motorway roadworks.

Northern Gas Networks (according to the very important sign on the barriers) are doing something around their pipeline.

There was this pile of discarded manhole covers and a few new ones being installed - see extra - but I think the apprentice brickie was on duty when these were set.

Afternoon trip to the tip and charity shop to dispose of more stuff we recovered after Mrs madwill’s brother passed away. Still more stuff to sort out - but at least we can get into the garage (using the internal door)..the main door is holding stuff up inside.
