Lunch date

We had a lovely lunch today at Lido, in town, with our friend Diane, who has recently retired.

As ever, we had a great time with lovely Italian food, we have been here about 5 or 6 times since it opened in mid December last year, and have not been disappointed. As ever, it was busy and just as well we booked or we would not have got in. 

My dessert was Ginger and rhubarb cheesecake with locally made Luca vanilla ice cream and berries, and is probably the best cheesecake I have eaten in years! 

Anyway, now back home and chilling in the garden, reading with a cat on my lap.
