Absolute scenes

Dave had to go to the dentist - my turn at the allotment. Watering, of course, and feeding the blighters; also managed to erect another teepee and do a bit of micro-weeding (D had done heroic work on the petits pois yesterday).

The usual rabble of sparrows erupted when I refilled the feeders - but also a starling family came down for the suet nuggets. The youngster was helping itself to water, but the parents were still feeding it with fragments of suet. The racket was immense!!
