The tooth is out

Look away now if you are squeamish...
A very nice dentist did a great job in levering out one of the teeth I use for chewing. After some hours of leaking a little blood, I seem to have developed the required clot. I mentioned this to a fellow social media contributor who responded with "I didn't  get a clot and the dentist had to pack the cavity and give me antibiotics ". While feeling sympathy, I would have preferred slightly less information and a comment like "You will be fine ".
