A Blast from the Past

Mr MD had a Cardiac appointment at Calderdale Hospital and had booked NHS transport to take him.   The driver immediately looked familiar and when I saw his name tag  - and the unusual surname - I realised I knew his family.   I had worked closely with his Mum a number of years ago when he was a small boy and knew his Dad too.   Not only that, his Aunt was a good friend of mine during our school years when we spent time together at each other's houses.   Mr MD also knew his Dad from school days. Made our day.
