Looking for Cakes
Another long drive today for work which started off with a trip to Louth and then from there I drove all the way to Pontefract to drop a couple of walling boards at our depot . Once the delivery had been made I parked up and went to stretch my legs before the long drive back. Just up the road from the depot is this interesting church. The church its self is inside the ruins of an old church that was destroyed during the English civil war. I took a few shots more On Flickr. I would have explored a bit more but I could see a bit of a group forming for what looked like a funeral so moved away to allow them to get ready to pay their respects and I headed back to the motorway and the drive back to Lincoln. A total of 165 miles again. Pontefract is famous for cakes hence my title but didn't get any not a fan of them anyway
Once back I had my lunch break and then washed the van and my car at the same time which just happened to be parked next to the van .
After 2 long drives tomorrow looks to be a lot easier with 3 local drops .
A chilled out evening and we are settling down to watch some football Man U V spurs in the Europa League final
