Virginia Water Totem Pole

On the third Sunday, our church has alternative activities including a walk which this week was to Virginia Water, near Savill Garden. I was pleased to see the totem pole for the first time in about 45 years and probably the last. It was given by the Government of British Columbia in 1958. Having reached the end of its natural life, the memorial pole will soon be laid to rest in the Great Park to return to the earth
