Finished

As we were going to bed last night it suddenly started to rain, such a pleasant surprise after a dry month. The garden looked better this morning.

Needles and natter today and I finished R’s second cardigan, it’s looking good. I found buttons in the collection in the cupboard, a perfect match and vintage.  The price is on the back of the card 4/6 for a dozen, so these are pre 1970’s.

I got home from town as the window cleaner arrived and it started to rain. We had a massive thunderstorm, thunder and lightning. A, the poor window cleaner sat in his van until it had finished, then did all the windows in the street. 

We are back to blue skies and sunshine now.
