Obliging Blackbird

Another couple of walks hoping to see the quail. Again a brief glimpse and in the time it took to raise the camera to my eye it was away into the long grass. On a couple of other occasions I could only have been a few feet from it but couldn’t see it.
Happily there was an obliging blackbird prepared to pose.
