Haystoun Garden

We had to go to an appointment in Edinburgh this morning and on our way back we decided to stop at The Secret Garden for lunch.  We hadn’t been there for ages.  Our last visit was just after the Garden and Cafe and been taken over.  At that time the Garden was looking very sad and neglected but today it was a very different story.  The owners had put in a lot of work and everywhere was flourishing.  On our way home we realised that Haystoun Garden was open under Scotland’s Garden Scheme so we visited there as well.  It was a perfect day for visiting gardens.  You can see the lake at Haystoun in my blip today.
