No one is illegal on stolen land

Pedro and Susan, standing to the left in this photo, delivered a signed petition with 1900 names of people begging our city council to pull the permit [making it illegal for the building to be rented] for an ICE building in this "sanctuary city." Pedro asks, "What does 'sanctuary' even mean, if ICE agents can arrest people, detain them without charges, and even deport them, separating them from family members?" 

The banner to the right  of Pedro proclaims the title of this blip. It is a banner that survived the 2018 Occupy ICE movement. Extra: some of the people at the rally that preceded delivery of the petition at Portland City Hall.
